COMPANY’S HISTORY

The company is managed by the President, Eng. Mirosław Jabłoński

The founders of the company, Mr. Jacek Krzyżanowski and Mr. Mirosław Jabłoński, have been involved in the production of filtration materials since 1977. Both of them started their careers in the Institute of Textile Industry in Łódź, where they conducted research on the problems of application of electrostatic attraction forces in the process of aerosol filtration. The method of manufacturing unwoven fabrics by means of blowing fused polymer with the use of the pneumo-thermal technique, proposed by Jacek Krzyżanowski and his research team, was the beginning of individual business activity.

1987

  • A private production plant was established, operating within the “Elektrometal” Crafts Co-op.

1990

  • The company commenced production of filtering half-mask respirators FM-O/15-I and FM-0/17-IIP1; the latter was the first Polish half-mask to meet the requirements of the PN-92 standard.

1992

  • The company transforms into a civil partnership “Filter-Service”.

1995

  • State Fund for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled grants to Filter Service the status of a supported employment enterprise with its decision D/01512.
  • International Fair of Work Protection SAWO in w Bydgoszcz, GOLD MEDAL for half-mask respirator FM-0/30 P3S – the first Polish product in this class.

1996 r.

  • Occupational Safety, Health and Fire Safety International Fair in Katowice, RECOGNITION in the field of personal protection for a respirator characterised by a modern, trapeze shape.
  • National Work Uniform Fair in Łódź, SECOND PLACE in category “Best Product” for half-mask respirator FM-0/28 P2S – the first Polish half-mask which protects against sulphuric acid vapours and lead dust.

1997 r.

  • Implementation of ISO 9002, which covered production of: filtering half-mask respirators, filters for rubber respirators, petroleum-derived impurity absorbers, input and output filters for vacuum cleaners, filtering nonwoven fabrics, filtering bags and sleeves, filter for mycelium manufacturing.
  • “Work in Szczecin” Fair, GOLD MEDAL for half-mask respirator FM-0/28 P2S

1998 r.

  • “Work in Szczecin” Fair, SILVER MEDAL for half-mask respirator FS-17/P1- the first Polish half-mask respirator to be labelled with the “CE” safety label.
  • National Work Uniform Fair, CHIEF LABOUR INSPECTOR CUP for half-mask FM-0/30 P3S

1999 r.

  • International Fair of Work Protection SAWO in w Bydgoszcz, GOLD MEDAL for half-mask respirator FS-55V/P2SL – the first Polish product in this class.

2000 r.

  • Occupational Safety, Health and Fire Safety International Fair in Katowice, GOLD MEDAL OF THE CHIEF LABOUR INSPECTOR for half-mask FS-55V/P2S.
  • International Fair of Work Protection SAWO in Poznań, GOOD PRODUCT – MERCURY award for the above mentioned half-mask.

2001 r.

  • The company extends its scope of production and begins to manufacture filtering nonwoven fabrics. The business offer includes filtering nonwoven fabrics intended for dry and wet filtration.

2002 r.

  • Filter Service transformed into a limited liability company.
  • Filter Service receives a very prestigious distinction – the Polish Promotional emblem “Poland: Now” in the 12th edition of the competition in recognition of its half-mask respirators.
  • International Fair of Work Protection, Fire-Fighting and Rescuing Equipment SAWO 2002, GRAND PRIX SAWO 2002 in the category of personal protective equipment for 801F P1 and 802F P2 filters manufactured in compliance with the standard PN-EN 143:2000.

2003 r.

  • Integrated Management System certification for compliance with ISO 9001:2001 standard.
  • International Fair of Work Protection, Fire-Fighting and Rescuing Equipment SAWO’2003 in Poznań. GOLD MEDAL SAWO 2003 in the category of personal protective equipment for half-mask respirators series FS 800 and FX 2000 manufactured in compliance with the latest standard EN 149:2001.

2004 r.

  • Products which meet the requirements of the latest standard EN 149:2001 were awarded with the Polish Promotional emblem “Poland: Now” in the 14th edition of the competition. These were two lines of half-mask respirators: shaped respirators from FX 2000 series and vertical folding respirators from FS 800 series.

2005 r.

  • As a leader in production of anti-dust half-mask respirators FILTER SERVICE Sp. z o.o. joined the Polish Technology Platform on Industrial Safety (PPT-BPP).
  • Participation in 17th International Fair of Work Protection, Fire-Fighting and Rescuing Equipment SAWO’2005 in Poznań.

2006 r.

  • Participation in A+A Trade Fair in Düsseldorf together with 1370 other exhibitors from all over the world who presented personal protection, life-saving and rehabilitation equipment. The fair was attended by a record-breaking number of visitors, i.e. 54250.
  • Participation of FILTER SERVICE Sp. z o.o., as an exhibitor in 12th Science and Technology Symposium “Chemia 2006” in Płock and presenting the company’s products, as well as other personal protection and environment protection equipment.
  • GRAND PRIX SAWO’2006 award for FILTER SERVICE in recognition of its product – half-mask respirator FS-30 V FFP3 D in the category of personal protective equipment. The award presented by Ms. Bożena Borys-Szopa, Chief Labour Inspector, and Mr. Bogusław Zalewski, Management Board President of the Poznań International Fair, was received by Adam Jabłoński on behalf of the company. The respirator is the first certified Polish product that complies with the requirements of variable penetration in time.
  • Due to dynamic growth, the company’s Managing Board decided to implement Integrated Management System according to PN-EN ISO 9001, PN ISO 14001, PN-N 18001 standards.
  • The Technical Committee for Management Systems Certification of the Polish Centre for Testing and Certification S.A. (PCTB) on 9 June 2006 issued a positive opinion of the results of the certification audit at FILTER SERVICE Sp. z o.o. which was carried out on 11 and 12 May 2006.
  • In connection with the above, the company has been awarded the INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATE (Quality – Occupational Health and Safety -Environment) No. JBS-123/1/2006
  • Participation in 12th International Fair of Technologies for Foundry METAL 2006 in Kielce, where half-mask respirator FS 30V FFP3 D was awarded a distinction of the fair.

2007 r.

  • FILTER SERVICE launched new line of half-mask respirators with valve series FS 900 SENSITEC
  • Another edition of A+A Trade Fair in Dusseldorf with a successful participation of Filter Service as a world leader in production of personal protective equipment.

2008 r.

  • Filter Service company introduces to the market the first in Poland bayonet type reusable anti-dust filters E 952 P2 R and EW 952 P2 R. These are certified products that comply with the latest standard PN EN 143:2000/A1:2006, which imposes an obligation to test the filters with use of a paraffin oil mist.
  • 19th International Fair of Work Protection, Fire-Fighting and Rescuing Equipment SAWO’2008 in Poznań, during which FILTER SERVICE presented its new half-masks series 900, which, in terms of price, are the alternative to other products of this type offered on the market, as well as, reusable anti-dust filters E 952 P2 R and EW 952 P2 R for the EUROMASK ETNA half-mask.
  • Finalization of a long-term project “New Generation of Filtering Materials with Nanofibres and Modifiers” coordinated by the Centre of Advanced Technologies of Friendly for Human Textiles PRO HUMANO TEX based in Łódź. The result of the programme are the now certified and marketed filters BIO E 953 P3 R and BIO S 953 P3 R, which, used in combination with the half-mask EURMASK ETNA (E) or SECURA 2000 (S), are used for protection of the respiratory system from dusts, smokes and fluid aerosols up to 50 x MPC and from biological hazards of over 0.3 μm in diameter.
  • Participation in 14th International Fair of Technologies for Foundry METAL 2008 in Kielce. FILTER SERVICE Sp. z o.o. received an award for its newest products, that is the FX CODE 2025 FFP2 D filtering half-mask and the reusable anti-dust filters E 952 P2 R, EW 952 P2 R and BIO E 953 P3 R for the EUROMASK ETNA half-mask.
  • For FILTER SERVICE Sp. z o.o. it was a period of changes, concerning finalization of investments, but also the launch of new reusable anti-dust filters E 952 P2 R and EW 952 P2 R, as well as half-mask respirator FX 2025 FFP2 D R.
  • FX CODE 2025 FFP2 D and reusable anti-dust filters E 952 P2 R, EW 952 P2 R and BIO E 953 P3 R for the EUROMASK ETNA half-mask awarded at METAL 2008 fairs in Kielce.

2009 r.

  • Change of control body of Integrated Management System.
  • The company acquired PN-EN ISO 9001:2009, PN-EN ISO 14001:2005 and PN-N-18001:2004 standards certification issued by the Central Institute for Labour Protection – National Research Institute.
  • Participation in 4th International Fair of Welding Technology And Equipment WELDING.
  • Another edition of A+A Trade Fair in Dusseldorf with a successful participation of Filter Service as a world leader in production of personal protective equipment.

2010 r.

  • International Fair of Work Protection, Fire-Fighting and Rescue Equipment SAWO 2010 in Poznań, GRAND PRIX SAWO 2010 for reusable filter BIO E 953 P3 R in the category of personal protective equipment.
  • International Fair of Work Protection, Fire-Fighting and Rescue Equipment SAWO 2010 in Poznań, ACANTHUS AUREUS award for the most favourable stand for marketing strategy implementation.
  • International Fair of Work Protection, Fire-Fighting and Rescue Equipment SAWO 2010 in Poznań, HIGH QUALITY distinction granted by the ELAMED publishing company for commitment to the promotion of proper selection and use of respiratory tract protection solutions.
  • 16th METAL International Fair of Technologies for Foundry in Kielce, MEDAL for half-mask respirators with BIOPROTECTION system.
  • FILTER SERVICE launched inexpensive half-mask respirators series FS 900 A. Based on the innovative technology, the half-masks meet the requirements of latest European Union standards and are manufactured in ultrasound technology in compliance with the implemented rules and processes of production described in Integrated Management System.
  • Full-face mask PANAREA 7000 available on market for the customers of FILTER SERVICE. PANAREA 7000 is a high quality full-face mask used by professionals for many different applications.

2011 r.

  • FILTER SERVICE launched its new, comfortable filter half-mask respirator for repeated use, which fulfils the requirements of EN 149:2001 extension A1: 2009 in the class P2. The FX 2026 V FFP2 R D half-mask respirator (for repeated use) was designed for particularly demanding customers. P2.   • Dr inż. Jacek Krzyżanowski PhD, Eng. – President of the FILTER SERVICE company was granted the title “Textile Industry Man of the Year 2010”. The award is a result of implementing by dr. inż. Jacek Krzyżanowski PhD, Eng. and his research team the innovative method of manufacturing unwoven fabrics by means of blowing fused polymer with the use of the pneumo-thermal technique.
  • 10th Aluminium & Nonfermet Fair in Kielce Half-mask FX 2026 V FFP2 R D was recognised by the committee in charge of evaluating innovative products submitted the competition and presented during the fair and won the medal of the Kielce Fair.
  • Participation of the company in the successive edition of the world’s largest OSH industry fair, i.e. A+A in Dusseldorf. During the event FILTER SERVICE presented half-masks of the COLOURS SERIES. An important event during a congress held in parallel to the fair was a special “German-Polish Dialogue on Occupational Safety” with the participation of Polish and German guests. FILTER SERVICE was represented by Adam Jabłoński.

2012 r.

  • The company launched half-masks SIMPLA on the market. They are anatomically shaped so a nose clip is not required. In spots particularly sensitive to leakage (nose curves) the masks have specially shaped lining to ensure excellent fit to the face of the user. Half-masks SIMPLA have no metal elements.
  • The company participated in the 21st International Fair of Work Protection, Rescue and Fire-Fighting SAWO ‘2012 in Poznań. There, two new half-mask series were presented, i.e. COLOURS and SIMPLA.
  • The company participated in ENERGETAB fair in Bielsko-Biała.
  • Presentation of the rules of correct selection and use of respiratory protection at a welding industry conference during ExpoWELDING fair in Sosnowiec.
  • Participation in the conference “Accidents are not accidental” co-organised with the Białystok University of Technology.
  • Participation in a training session organised by UNIMEDIA publishing house regarding personal protection equipment used in explosion hazard zones in Warsaw.
  • Participation in training for inspectors of the National Labour Inspectorate in Łódź
  • Participation in a conference “Safety in logistics” held in Poznań
  • Participation in a conference “Safety in construction” held at the Institute of Occupational Medicine in Łódź
  • Participation in the 2nd OSH Congress in Warsaw.

2013 r.

  • FILTER SERVICE puts economical half-masks POLFILTER on the market.
  • Participation of the company in the 16th Occupational Safety and Health and Fire Protection OSH 2013 in Katowice.
  • Participation of FILTER SERVICE in high technology fair ITM’2013 in Poznań.
  • Participation of the company in a bulk goods fair held in Kraków. During the conference at the fair a representative of our company discussed the rules of correct selection and use of respiratory protection.
  • Participation in a conference regarding PPE in agriculture and construction industry held in Łomża
  • Participation in an ergonomics conference held in Warsaw
  • Participation in a conference “Work-related risks for nursing staff” held at the Institute of Occupational Medicine
  • Participation in a conference “Deposit mining at large depths – operations, technology development and new challenges for the industry” held in Jastrzębie Zdrój
  • Participation in a conference “Work safety is your responsibility” held in Olsztyn
  • Participation in a conference “The human factor vs. safety in mining and metallurgy”
  • Participation in a successive edition of A+A fair in Dusseldorf. During the event the company presented two new reusable half-masks, i.e. FS 33 V F FFP3 R D and FS 80 V FFP3 R D. Both products are equipped with extra filters. They considerably improve the comfort of using such equipment. Inlet valves allow fresh, cool and clean air from the filters to enter under the half-masks. Used air with carbon dioxide is discharged through the outlet valve or, in the case of FS 80 V FFP3 R D, two outlet valves. With regard to their modern design and innovative features the new half-masks aroused much interest among visitors from all over the world.

2014 r.

  • Participation in SAWO fairs in Poznań. During the Fair opening ceremony, prizes awarded by the Competition Commission were presented. The Gold Medal was awarded to the FS 33 V F FFP3 R D filtering half-mask. The company’s stand presented the entire range of products manufactured by the enterprise. These include, in particular, filtering half-masks, reusable filters for half-masks, non-woven fabrics, filter bags, and sorption materials.

  • Company’s participation in the 17th edition of the Fair of Safety, Hygiene and Work Safety BeHePe 2015 in Katowice
  • Winning the GOLD MEDAL of the Poznań International Fair “CHOICE OF CONSUMERS” for half-mask FS 33 V F FFP3 R D.
  • Participation in ITM fairs in Poznań. During the event, the company’s products were presented, including the FS 33V F FFP3 half-mask, which received the MTP Gold Medal in the choice of consumers.
  • Participation in the conference “Good Practices in Communication for Safety and Health at Work” in Mikorzyn near Konin.
  • Participation in the conference “Safe Work of the Welder”, which took place in April in Katowice.
  • Participation in the seminar “Safety on Construction Sites”, which took place in May in Zakopane.
  • Participation in the seminar on health and safety in the food industry, organized by the OSPSBHP branch in Koszalin
  • Participation in the meeting of the National Association of Workers of Health and Safety Service, branch in Jelenia Góra. During the event in Mysłakowice, problems related to the selection of individual protection measures were discussed.
  • Participation in the conference “PROGRESS IN SAFETY ENGINEERING”, which took place in September.
  • Participation in a series of four presentations at various production plants belonging to KGHM.
  • Participation in the Educational Picnic in Iława. The event was aimed at making children, young people, and adults aware of the need to work in safe and comfortable conditions.
  • Participation in the conference “Safety in Mining” (October). During the event, FS 33 V F FFP3 R D half-masks were presented. The Porta Count device was used for the presentation; it allows to assess the correctness of matching respiratory protection equipment to the employee.
  • Participation in a successive edition of A+A fair in Dusseldorf. The company presented products that can be used at work and in the removal of the effects of various types of disasters such as earthquakes, floods, fires…

2016 r.

  • Participation in the BUDMA’2016 fair in Poznań. The company’s goal was to familiarize a larger group of customers with the company’s products from in the company’s offer
  • The company’s management decided to introduce a new brand – CityMask.
  • Participation in the SAWO’2016 fair in Poznań. The company’s products and half-masks of the new CityMask brand were presented at the 30-meter stand
  • Participation in the conference “Regulations Concerning Safety and Health at Work in Poland – the need for changes within the Second International Congress of Safety and Health at Work in Poland”
  • Participation with an exhibition and lecture during the Welding Conference in Katowice (May).
  • Participation with an exhibition at the Education Picnic in Starachowice (June).
  • Realignment in the company’s Management Board. The president is inż. Mirosław Jabłoński, first vice-president – dr inż. Jacek Krzyżanowski, second vice-president – mgr Krzysztof Wojtas (June).
  • The board of the company has decided to launch the website www.citymask.eu [1].
  • Participation with an exhibition in the conference on security in the food industry in Koszalin (June).
  • The company’s management has decided to launch an online store with half-masks against smog – www.sklep.citymask.eu [2].
  • Participation in the conference organized in Olsztyn by OSPSBHP with the participation of CIOP PIB (September)
  • Participation with an exhibition in the final of the NIE-Bezpieczna Budowa (UN-Safe Construction Ste) competition in Olsztyn (October).
  • Participation with an exhibition in the conference “Work Safety Depends On You” organized for employers by the National Labor Inspectorate in Łódź (October).
  • Employee training and half-mask matching test at EXPOM in Kurzętnik as part of the program run by CIOP PIB.
  • A test was carried out on matching the half-masks to workers using the PortaCount device at the KUJAWSKIE ZIOŁA plant near Włocławek (December).

2017 r.

  • A training was conducted for the staff and charges of the Special School Complex No. 98 in Warsaw in the field of proper use of smog masks. The school has received 200 pieces of half-masks to be used by pupils (February).
  • Participation in the 6th International Waste Management Forum SOSEXPO with the presentation of half-masks for industry and with CityMask products (February).
  • Participation in the “Your Home. Your Garden” fair in Ostróda (March).
  • Participation in the fair “Health and Safety at Construction Site” in Bydgoszcz (April). The company has received a GOLD MEDAL for half-mask FS 33V F FFP3 R D.
  • Participation in the Occupational Health and Safety Fair in Katowice (April). During the event, apart from the standard products, the possibilities were presented of testing the matching half-masks to the user’s face using the PortaCount device.
  • Participation in the meeting at the Ministry of Development on the interpretation of transitional periods for Regulation 2016/425 of the European Parliament (April).
  • Participation in the seminar organized by CIOP-PIB entitled “Changes in the classification of respiratory protective equipment in the light of international ISO standards projects” (May).
  • Participation in the meeting of the Patronage Council of the Textile Review (Przegląd Włókienniczy) magazine (June).
  • Participation in the ITM Fair in Poznań (June). During the conference organized by the Kultura Bezpieczeństwa portal, as part of the fair, a lecture on the proper fit of respiratory protection was conducted by Adam Jabłoński.
  • Participation in the meeting of the ITT CERTEX Committee on Impartiality (August).
  • A test was carried out on matching the half-masks to the face of KGHM POLSKA MIEDŹ employees during the Safety Week of ZG RUDNA (September). The P2 half-mask with additional filters was very popular.
  • Participation in the Conference “Security in Mining and Metallurgy” (October). FILTER SERVICE appeared with the new design of the stand (wall). Adam Jabłonski presented a lecture on the adjustment of respiratory protection to the user’s face.
  • Participation in the 1st National Health and Safety Forum (October). Representatives of the Ministry of Development, Chief Labor Inspectorate, Labor Protection Council at the Polish Sejm, CIOP-PIB, and Social Insurance Institution participated in it.
  • Participation in the A+A fair in Dusseldorf (October). The main activities, regarding the stand design and the presentation of the company during such an important for FILTER SERVICE event, were on the part of the marketing department. The Marketing Director has prepared a presentation entitled “20 years of FILTER SERVICE in A+A”, which was displayed on the monitor throughout the entire exhibition. Visitors also had the opportunity to use the PORTA COUNT device. The test results in the current time were displayed on the monitor. The design of the stand and its activities aroused the great interest of visitors.
  • Participation in the training organized by the OSPSBHP branch Piła (October). The subject of proper selection and adjustment of respiratory protection was presented by Szymon Gębala in his lecture.
  • Participation in the ATES Health and Safety Conference (November). Marcin Piestrzyniewicz and Adam Jabłoński were representatives of the company. At the company’s stand, measurements of filtering half-masks matching to the face of users were made using the PORTA COUNT device. Also a lecture on matching half-masks to specific employees was presented.
  • Participation in the meeting at the Ministry of Development regarding a new regulation (December).
  • Participation in the meeting of the Patronage Council of the Przegląd Włókienniczy magazine (December).

2018 r.

  • Participation in the meeting of the ITT CERTEX Committee on Impartiality (January).
  • Participation in the meeting of the Management Board of CIOP-PIB (February).
  • Participation in the meeting of the OSPSBHP Council in Warsaw (March).
  • Participation in the meeting of the Coordination Team of the “Improving Safety and Working Conditions” program – the Minister of Family, Labor and Social Policy invited Adam Jabłonski to work in the Team.
  • Participation in the SAWO Fair 2018 (April). The FILTER SERVICE stand was awarded the Acanthus Aureus award for the best reflection of the company’s marketing strategy in the trade fair exhibition. The premiere of the FS-20 V CU FFP2 RD half-mask took place.
  • The president of the Management Board of FILTER SERVICE Sp. z o.o., Eng. Mirosław Jabłoński, ended his professional career and began a well-deserved retirement (April).
  • Upon an invitation by Skanska, we have conducted awareness training on the correct selection of respiratory protection, both at work and in private life (smog, gardening and domestic work). The trainers were Adam Jabłoński and Szymon Gębala (May).
  • A training course in basic resuscitation was carried out at the premises of the company. 21 people were trained in CPR and defibrillator use. The training was conducted by Adam Jabłoński (May).
  • The General Meeting of the Company’s Shareholders appointed Mr Krzysztof Wojtas as the President (June).
  • Participation in the 50th anniversary of the LUBIN mine at KGHM. During this outdoor family event, the entertainers from the “BERGAMUTKA” company, which was hired by FILTER SERVICE, organised fun and games for the children. There was also a place where employees of the LUBIN mine had an opportunity to get to know our new products. They could also test the face fit of the half masks using the PortaCount device. The company was represented during the event by Adam Jabłoński (June).
  • Tests of half mask fit were carried out for the personnel of the Głogów smelter (August).
  • Participation in the H&S days at KGHM.
    The safety week at the RUDNA mine was organised from 10/9/2018 to 13/9/2018. A presentation titled “Selection and fitting of respiratory protective equipment” was conducted during the event, with primary emphasis on the operating principles and comfortable use of half masks with extra filters. Tests using the PortaCount device were carried out for personnel of the Rudna Główna, R VII and R IX shafts. The main goal of our activities was to present the new products to our end customers. The order for FS-20V CU FFP2 R D half masks received in the last days of September proved that the presentations were effective.
  • Participation in the 2nd National Forum of H&S Professionals, “Safety in World 4.0” (October). During the first day, participants of the event had the opportunity to get to know the offering of FILTER SERVICE. Our stand was used to show how to test the face fit of the half masks using the PORTACOUNT device. During the second day of the 2nd National Forum of H&S Professionals, the participants met in the Column Hall of the Polish Sejm to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the founding of the H&S service and the 25th anniversary of the National Association of H&S Professionals (OSPSBHP). The ceremony was attended by over 250 people.
  • Conference at the AGH University of Science and Technology (September).
    Half masks without nose clips were presented during the event. Thanks to the PortaCount device, it was possible to demonstrate their superiority over half masks with nose clips. The tests involved, in particular, H&S professionals from PGG. Adam Jabłoński delivered a presentation titled “Changes in PPE regulations”, where he discussed the new Regulation 2016/425 of the European Parliament as well as the planned ISO 17420 standard.
  • Participation in a conference organised by the ASSOCIATION OF H&S PROFESSIONALS IN ŁÓDŹ as part of the campaign titled “SAFE AND HEALTHY WORKPLACE: DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES UNDER CONTROL”. The conference was held at the Lodz University of Technology (October).
  • Participation in the “WORK MAKES YOU YOUNGER” conference organised by the OSPSBHP branch in Kalisz (October).
  • Participation in the “Safety in Mining and Steel Industry” conference organised by the ELAMED publishing house (October). During the event, Adam Jabłoński delivered a presentation titled: “Changes in PPE regulations. New solutions used in filtering half masks”.
  • Market launch of ZI anti-dust filters for reusable half masks manufactured by 3M (November).
  • Participation in a conference organised by the ATEST magazine (November).
  • During the conference, Adam Jabłoński delivered a presentation on new solutions in filtering half masks (half masks with extra filters) and the problem with achieving proper face fit of the half masks. New products of FILTER SERVICE – half masks with extra filters and ZI filters – were showcased at the stand.
  • Participation in an international conference titled “MODERN AND ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES FOR STATE SECURITY”, organised by the “MORATEX” institute (November). A presentation titled “Fitting the respiratory protective equipment – assumptions vs reality” was delivered during the event.
  • On 13/11/2018, a meeting of the Łódź branch of the OSPSBHP was held at the head office of FILTER SERVICE. The meeting included a presentation titled “Selection and fitting of respiratory protective equipment” using the PORTACOUNT device. The guests also had the opportunity to learn about the history of the company and see the equipment used to manufacture needled nonwoven fabrics.
  • Participation in a conference titled “WORK SAFETY – NEW DIRECTIONS”, organised by the Katowice branch of OSPSBHP (November).
    Adam Jabłoński took part in the discussion panel concerning the working environment, together with other representatives of supporting partners. At our company’s stand, over 200 participants of the event had the opportunity to learn more about our products. There was much interest in tests of the face fit of the half masks using the PORTACOUNT device.
  • Participation in the 25th anniversary of the Gdańsk branch of OSPSBHP (November).
    Some very kind comments regarding the cooperation between FILTER SERVICE and the OSPSBHP could be heard during the event. Mr Marek Nościusz, head of the branch in Gdańsk, thanked the company for many years of cooperation, for its good will and for the professional assistance with the selection of respiratory protective equipment, in particular.
  • Participation in a session of the Council of OSPSBHP, which took place in Radom (December).
    The meeting was also attended by approx. 70 members of 34 OSPSBHP branches as well as a representative of the Central Institute for Labour Protection – National Research Institute (CIOP-PIB) and Supporting Partners of the OSPSBHP. During the session of the Council of the Association, the Supporting Partners, including FILTER SERVICE, awarded diplomas of recognition to the branches and heads of branches who actively participated in the joint organisation of training sessions, conferences, seminars or competitions. The Supporting Partners declared their desire to continue working together with the largest Polish organisation gather H&S professionals.
  • Participation in the meeting of the Patronage Council of the “Przegląd Włókienniczy” magazine (December).
  • Market launch of FS/0 filtering half masks. The new line will replace STANDARD half masks. Their modified facepieces improve the face fit of the half masks.
  • Participation in the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Kielce branch of OSPSBHP (December).
    During the meeting, a representative of the company addressed the problem with the increasing incidence of pneumoconiosis in Świętokrzyskie Province.

 

2019 r.

  • Participation in the BUDMA International Construction and Architecture Fair (February).
    Fair-goers had the opportunity to examine the products of FILTER SERVICE. There was much interest in the half masks with extra filters as well as in the ZI filters.
  • Participation in training on the correct selection, use and fitting of respiratory protective equipment organised by the OSPSBHP in Kielce (February).
  • Participation in a session of the Coordination Team of the multi-annual programme titled: “Improvement of safety and working conditions” – stage IV (February).
  • Participation in the ITM Europe Fair: Innovation, Technologies, Machinery (June).
  • The General Meeting of the Company’s Shareholders has appointed the new Management Board of FILTER SERVICE, composed of the following members:

  • Participation in a conference organised by the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT) in cooperation with the State Labour Inspectorate (PIP) in Łódź.
    The event was attended by over 120 people. There was significant interest in half masks with extra filters (June).
  • Participation in an event organised by the SAFETY CULTURE foundation in Goleniów (June).
  • Participation in a fair organised by the LUBIN mine (July).
  • Participation in the 3rd National Forum of H&S Professionals (September).
    Participants of the event had the opportunity to examine the latest products of the company as well as the PORTACOUNT device. Adam Jabłoński was one of the speakers during the debate titled “Investing in the employee’s safety – today’s cost might be future profit” during the first day of the forum.
  • Participation in the 8th HUMAN FACTOR AND SAFETY Conference organised by the ELAMED publishing house (October).
    This event, which took place in Zabrze, included a presentation titled “Mandatory tests of personal protective equipment fit before starting work as a factor in the prevention of occupational diseases”.
  • Participation in the H&S days at KGHM from 13/10/2019 to 18/10/2019.
  • Participation in the “Safety in the Industry II” conference organised by EcoMS Consulting Sp. z o.o. in Wrocław (October).
  • Market launch of SMOG anti-smog filtering half masks under the CitYMask brand name. The products received an EU certificate issued by the Central Institute for Labour Protection – National Research Institute (CIOP-PIB).
  • Participation in the next edition of the A+A Fair in Dusseldorf (November).
    At the stand of FILTER SERVICE located in building 9 (the location has not changed during the last five editions), the visitors had the opportunity to examine the full offering of our company, including a wide range of filtering half masks, non-woven filter fabrics for dry and wet filtration, filters for reusable half masks and spill control products. The fair-goers were particularly interested in the latest products, such as half masks with additional P2 filters as well as ZI filters for the half masks manufactured by 3M. At its stand, FILTER SERVICE organised a point where the visitors could test the face fit of their filtering half masks. Thanks to the PortaCount device, the fair-goers could determine how tightly their half masks adhered to their face. Many of them were quite surprised by the excellent fit provided by the SIMPLA half masks without the nose clip.
  • Participation in a conference organised by the ATEST Ochrona Pracy magazine (November).
    Participants of the event had the opportunity to examine our company’s offering during outdoor games. They were also able to use the PortaCount device at the stand in order to test the face fit of the half masks.
  • Participation in a Council of the OSPSBHP that took place in the assembly hall of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia in Katowice (December).

 

2020 r.

    • Participation in the 4th National Forum of H&S Professionals (October). An online conference with the participation of our employee was held as part of the Forum.
    • Participation in Anti-Covid Fair in Cracow – October, 14-15. The participants of the event had the opportunity to get familiar with the products offered by an online shop sklep.citymask.eu
    • A representative of the company took part in the meeting of the ITT CERTEX Committee – August and the meeting of the ITT CERTEX Committee – September.

Apart from new half-mask respirators FS-95 FFP2 NR and FS-95V FFP2 NR, we presented various possibilities of packing our products. (April)

      • Putting photovoltaic installations for Sadowa 4a and Letnia 65a facilities into operation.
      • Participation in 4th Nationwide OHS Service Forum “OHS Service 4.0”. Apart from lectures and discussion panels, workshops conducted by OSPSBHP partners took place. During meetings our hearers had a chance to learn how to correctly put on disposable half-masks, compare half-mask respirator models, check fitting of half-mask respirator to user’s face with use of Porta Count device. Questions that were asked during workshops confirm great needs of trainings in selection and fitting of respiratory protection equipment. (September)
      • Participation in “FROM OHS MANAGEMENT TO SAFETY CULTURE IN AN ENTREPRENEURSHIP” organised by OSPSBHP Management, Gdańsk division. During the event we held a presentation “Personal Protective Equipment – Respiratory Tract”. Participants, apart from attending a lecture, had a chance to experience how to correctly put on disposable half-masks. Assessment of whether a half-mask respirator is fitted to a user’s face was held with use of Porta Count device. (September)

      • Participation in scientific and training conference “Biological agents in working environment versus occupational diseases” in Radom (October).
      • Participation in a conference devoted to working people and their safety organised by OSPSBHP, Poznań division (November).

      • With the end of 2022 dr Eng. Jacek Krzyżanowski, co-owner and President of the Board for many years, has retired.
